The American League Championship Series (ALCS) is a best-of-seven series, much like the NLCS, played in the Major League Baseball postseason that determines the winner of the American League pennant. While earning the AL pennant is a great honor, the winner of the ALCS series also gets to advance to play the winner of the NLCS championship in the World Series, the largest MLB event of each year.
This year, the Cleveland Indians will compete against the Toronto Blue Jays. The series starts out at the Cleveland home base, Progressive Field, on October 14th and 15th. Moving on to the Blue Jays home field, Rogers Center, on October 17th-19th, the series will loop back to Cleveland for the final games on October 21st and 22nd.
