The American League Championship Series (ALCS) is a best-of-seven series, much like the NLCS, played in the Major League Baseball postseason that determines the winner of the American League pennant. While earning the AL pennant is a great honor, the winner of the ALCS series also gets to advance to play the winner of the NLCS championship in the World Series, the largest MLB event of each year.
This year, the Toronto Blue Jays will compete against the Cleveland Indians. The series starts out at the Cleveland home base, Progressive Field, on October 14th and 15th. Moving mon to the Blue Jays home field, Rogers Center, on October 17th-19th, the series will loop back to Cleveland for the final games on October 21st and 22nd.
