Martin Lawrence

Age Requirement:
All ages. Under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Parental discretion advised (adult content).

Martin Lawrence took his stand-up comedy act and turned it into the hit TV show Martin from 1992-1997. In addition to the title role, Lawrence portrayed several different characters. The success of the series helped launch Lawrence on a career that has included comedy albums and numerous movies, including A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, which he also co-wrote and directed, Nothing to Lose, Big Momma's House, National Security and two big-budget buddy movies with Will Smith, Bad Boys and Bad Boys II.

Arguably the most popular and successful black comedian of the mid-1990's (and the man who first popularized the expression "Wassup?"), Lawrence began his career doing stand-up on the Washington, DC circuit before moving briefly to NYC where, among his venues, he worked the crowds at Washington Square Park.
