Panic at the Disco

Las Vegas' own Panic At The Disco is one of the most established founders of the pop punk genre. They originally got together in 2004, as a group of friends in just 9th grade. They signed a recording contract without previously having played a live show, an unprecedented move in the world of music. They posted three early demos online and sent a link to the demos to the California-based band, Fall Out Boy, who were the leaders in pop punk at the time. Fall Out Boy's bassist, Pete Wentz, was enthralled with Panic at the Disco and wore their shirts live on stage.

Their debut album, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out", was released in 2005 and early sales were slow. It debuted as number 112 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and sold almost 10,000 the first week of release. Within four months, however, the video for their first single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" rocketed up the charts, and the album began flying off the shelves.

After "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out"s success, the band went on to do a headlining tour across the country. As their name grew into a household notoriety, they released four more albums, the most recent of which was "Death of a Bachelor", released in 2016.
