Ziggy Marley

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Ziggy Marley first sat in on recording sessions with his father's band, legendary reggae troupe Bob Marley and the Wailers, when he was 10 years old. Joining with his three siblings to become The Melody Makers, Ziggy crafted his own soulful sound blending blues, R&B, hip-hop and reggae.

While selling records by the millions and selling out countless concerts with the Melody Makers, Ziggy Marley has never lost sight of his foundation of faith, fellowship and family. After two decades as the driving creative force behind The Melody Makers, Ziggy stepped out on his own with his first solo album, Dragonfly.

In the wake of his 2006 album Love Is My Religion, which earned his fourth Grammy Award, Ziggy Marley shares his musical love with families, his own and the extended human family. Marley's third solo release, Family Time.

In 2013 his song "I Love You Too" won him a Daytime Emmy Award in the 'Outstanding Original Song – Children's and Animation' category, after it was used in the Disney Channel animation 3rd & Bird!
